Apex Ring Spindle Concentricity Setting Device -New

Continuing on the development of its Ring Concentricity setting Devices, Apex has released its new device which has greatly enhanced features.

The first and foremost advantage is the introduction of a self centering sleeve . This sleeve, taking advantage of gravity automatically sets the ring in centre with the spindle .

The inner tube fits the spindle and the said sleeve , conical in shape slides over it. In a given spindle, after the device is inserted into the spindle, the ring adaptor screws are loosened so that the ring should freely move. Now the tapered sleeve is lifted and allowed to fall freely on the ring. Now because of its self weight , the ring is brought into centre with the sleeve. Now the first screw is given 1/4 the tightness and the second screw is fully tightened. The remaining first screw tightening is completed finally. This completes the centering process.

The operator never, even once strain his eyes or peep into the ring area to set the ring. The whole process is only loosening and tightening.
